Litia Sini Beach Resort (fales) are located on the South Coast of Upolu Island where the white sand beach and lagoon in Lalomanu village really does look like the travel brochure. Litia's beach is most popular for snorkeling, scuba diving and other water activities in the clear blue waters of Lalomanu. The natural beauty of ocean views and swaying palms makes Litia's beach resort a paradise to relax and re-energize the tired mind and body.

Located about an hour's drive from Apia, Litia's beach fales are thatched and constructed in the traditional Samoan style to ensure coolness inside yet open to the fantastic ocean views. To ensure comfort and privacy your fale can be enclosed to suit your needs. Just imagine going to sleep and waking up to the sound of waves on the shore.

From your fale you will experience the splendid view of sunsets and the grandeur of sunrises against the small Nu'utele Island.

We provide a mattress, fresh linen and mosquito nets. Litia's 18 fales offers a shared Western style toilets, shower block and a large central dining fale completes the basic needs of accommodation.

The meals available for purchase at Litia's are delicious home cooked meals & drinks prepared and served by our friendly staff. The communal dining also provides an opportunity to meet the other guests.

Litia’s Beach also has a Cool Bar that sells the best cold drinks such as the Samoa’s very own beer vailima, juice, soft-drinks, cocktails and many more. You will experience the Samoan songs and a great mixture for your entertainment.

Litia Sini has a transport service where we will pick you up personally from the International Airport and bring you to Litia’s beach in Lalomanu. You will enjoy your first 2 hour ride in Samoa to Litia's without any hassle. If you are travelling to Samoa for the first time, this might be the best option for you as we will make sure you are brought to Litia’s beach resort safe and sound. This is one less hassle on your holiday plans.

Why don’t you let us worry about your transportation when you arrive in Samoa, and free your mind for your other plans. It is very simple – just tick in your reservation request, that transport is required. We can also bring you to the airport should you leave from Litia’s resort.

History and Message from founders/owners Taula & Litia Sini

In the late March of 1993 my husband (Taula) and I closed our small shop and started a new establishment which we called “beach fales” (huts). We must say that this took a lot of hard work and effort from us and our children, cleaning and building the open beach fales.

Previously, the locals had used this space as a waste management area. This is how we found it. When the building of the huts began, it didn’t matter what the weather was, rain, storm or shine we worked through it determined to achieve our goal.

We had a dual vision. One was to host and cater for visitors especially tourists from abroad. We wanted to provide accommodation for them to enjoy one night or two by the waters of Lalomanu and to enjoy the beautiful scenic views from the beach. Our second was more of a dream to make this an investment for the future of our children, family and to help support our church and village community.

Having a vision gave us the drive and motivation to preserve through the difficult stages of establishment. Sometimes this meant sleeping under a small cave instead of a comfortable bed. As we continued to clean out this area, we came across a medium sized rock which was lying above a hidden cave. We turned this into a kitchen area as well as our sleeping quarters. We cooked our meals right at the edge of it and before dark we covered it with sand and had a sheet hanging from the top to shield us from the mosquitoes at night. At the time we thought this was a great way to start. It added a unique feeling and fascination to our new endeavour.

We believe then and now more so than ever that “where there is a will, there is a way” From our small and difficult beginnings to where we are now, which we consider to be a small achievement we are truly thankful to Our Heavenly Father for helping us and our family. We believe without a doubt that “nothing is impossible with the Lord”

We now have 16 enclosed beach bungalows with verandahs, a beach bar and a restaurant.

As we are now retired, our children are managing our establishment. It is great to see something of ourselves and our vision come to fruition in our children’s work.
